Our founder, Robert J. Franzese, PhD, brings a unique combination of experience to assist our clients in achieving their college goals. Dr. Bob has taught in nationally recognized universities, private colleges and community colleges. He has almost 20 years experience as a college administrator and was involved with recruiting and advising students. He is also familiar with the ins and outs of matching students with available - but hard to find - grants and scholarships.

College Selection Advisement
We cover the gamut and will work diligently with you in the college selection process. In the final analysis it is up to students where they choose to attend. But, there is help along the way, from start to finish. We at College Consulting with Dr. Bob will guide clients through the challenging steps to finding the institution that meets their goals and ambitions. It may very well be one of the biggest decisions they make in their lifetimes.
Unlimited Letter Writing Assistance.
Completing college applications is one thing; writing the letter that seals the deal is another. Dr. Bob will engage individuals in pulling together THE letter that will help put them across the finish line. This is a collaborative process that involves our clients working with professionals from College Consulting with Dr. Bob: Teamwork = Excellence. The final letter will tell the story college admissions professionals love to read and that touches them personally. Each one of us is unique, and it is that uniqueness all seek to unravel in the college selection process.
Scholarship Searching
There are many sources of scholarships, including colleges and universities, corporations, charities, and professional organizations. Often these are merit driven, awarded for excellent high school grades and high scores on standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT. They can be needs based such as those awarded to lower income students and those with disabilities. Individuals with talents in music and the fine arts may be eligible for scholarship assistance. College departments/majors often have scholarships to offer such as accounting, engineering, architecture, journalism, and the social and behavioral sciences, to name a few. Securing scholarships is like a job in itself; it requires hard work and persistence. At College Consulting with Dr. Bob you will be guided through the process of locating and securing scholarships.
